There are events that come and go, and then there are nights that mark milestones—celebrations that bring together legacy, people, and purpose. Photographing the Ritchies 30th IGA Annual Awards Night at the Cairns Convention Centre was exactly that: a night of recognition, pride, and heartfelt celebration.

A Night to Remember

From the moment the doors opened, the energy in the air was unmistakable. Staff and guests, dressed in their finest, arrived with smiles, handshakes, and plenty of excitement. The Cairns Convention Centre provided a spectacular backdrop, with its state-of-the-art lighting and elegant layout adding a touch of grandeur to the evening.

As a photographer, my goal was to capture not just the key moments—but the emotion behind them. From candid laughs between longtime colleagues to the proud expressions of award recipients, every image aimed to tell the story of what makes Ritchies not just a business, but a community.
