On the 20th of July 2025 marked the end of an era in Cairns, as Dundee’s Aquarium Restaurant hosted its final day. Known for its unique setting beside the Cairns Aquarium and its fusion of reef-to-plate cuisine, Dundee’s wasn’t just a restaurant—it was an experience. I had the privilege of photographing their closing party, and what unfolded was a night of nostalgia, gratitude, and celebration.
