Luke & Grace’s Emotional Destination Wedding in Skiathos, Greece

There’s something magical about destination weddings, but Luke and Grace’s wedding in Skiathos, Greece was one I’ll never forget.

From the moment we boarded the flight, you could already feel the excitement building. Friends and family filled the cabin, all travelling together to celebrate two people so clearly loved by everyone around them. Then came the moment that honestly caught me off guard — during the flight, the crew announced that Luke and Grace were on board and heading to Greece to get married.

The entire plane erupted into cheers and applause.

People were clapping, smiling, raising glasses, and looking over at the couple with so much warmth and happiness. I glanced over at Luke and Grace, completely overwhelmed in the best way, and I won’t lie… it brought a tear to my eye too. It was one of those beautifully human moments that reminds you just how special weddings really are.

And somehow, that was only the beginning.

A Dream Wedding Setting at Bourtzi Peninsula

Set between the old and new harbours of Skiathos Town, Bourtzi Peninsula gave Luke and Grace the most breathtaking backdrop imaginable for their ceremony. Surrounded by crystal blue water, pine trees, and endless Greek sunshine, it felt intimate, relaxed, and effortlessly romantic.

As guests arrived overlooking the sea, there was such an incredible atmosphere — laughter, happy tears, hugs, and that unmistakable holiday feeling that only destination weddings seem to create.

Grace looked absolutely stunning as she walked into the ceremony, and the look on Luke’s face said everything. These are always my favourite moments to photograph — the real emotion, the anticipation, and the seconds that couples never fully see themselves until afterwards.

Their ceremony was heartfelt, emotional, and filled with so much joy. The sound of the sea nearby, the warm breeze, and the reactions from their family and friends made everything feel incredibly personal and unforgettable.
