My passion is photographing people and documenting life. I've been a wedding photographer for 13 years and photographed over 1000 weddings and I still get so excited, when i'm about to shoot another!
I’ll bring together the natural moments with relaxed portraits and beautifully photographed details and craft them into a visual story to show the day at its best and you as the best version of yourselves.

My style is about telling stories. The stories between the people, places and details of the day. Documentary is about capturing moments in a way that creates timeless and precious memories that happen naturally, without direction or intervention from the photographer. I’m at my happiest when my pictures reflect the story of the day naturally and honestly.
I shoot weddings in a creative, documentary style creating a narrative from the events that unfold around me. I photograph the small details as well as the big moments, all in the same unfussy and approachable way. I won’t get in the way or tell you what to do. I’d love to hear from you.

With my professional up to date equiptment and my relaxed personality, I will capture your day using a reportage style – never asking you to repeat things, or moving or directing you, but instead capturing everything as it happens (creatively and artistically, of course).
WEDDING RATES AND INVESTMENT
This is what’s included in all packages:
- An initial consultation with yourselves to talk about your day in more detail, and just to get to know each other. Of course, this consultation is free of charge, with no obligation whatsoever. This can also be done via zoom/FaceTime, if a physical meeting isn’t possible.
- Me – Rebecca Wade covering your wedding naturally, creatively and artistically. I don’t get anyone else to shoot your day, so you can rest assured it’ll always be me and my unique style. Coverage can begin whenever you wish, and extra hours can also be added to suit your exact requirements.
- All your images individually edited and enhanced. I don’t ‘bulk edit’ my photos; each and every shot you receive has been given unique attention to ensure optimum quality, in my signature style.
- Your images all at full-resolution and without watermarks – so you can print or use your photos however you wish. I am also very happy for you to share your photos on Facebook/Instagram, of course.
- A private online gallery, for your guests to view all your photographs, and order prints/photo gifts directly should they wish to.
- Travel within Port Douglas, Tablelands and further if required!
- With over 13 years experience I am also offering wedding planning assistance!
- Video Content Creation from your day, behind the scenes footage of all your memories treasured forever and instagram/TikTok ready within 24/48 hours

The first thing you should know is that I’m incredibly focused and driven to create images for my couples, although I may appear calm and relaxed on the surface, there is no off-switch whilst I’m at a wedding. I don’t stop watching, observing, moving or documenting, and I always just go with the flow of the day, there’s very little in the way of a plan or shot-list
